Ingredients

For the Casserole
  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with sliced steak or roast.
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced (green or red)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 cups cooked egg noodles Can use any pasta of your choice.
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish chopped

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Add the cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and well combined with the beef and vegetables.
  5. Mix in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Slowly add the beef broth, mixing until everything is evenly combined.
  6. Fold in the cooked egg noodles, ensuring they are thoroughly coated with the beef mixture.
  7. Spread the noodle mixture evenly in the greased casserole dish.
  8. Top with shredded provolone and mozzarella cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
