  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional) Adds a nice touch for presentation.

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Cooking
  1. Stir in the elbow macaroni, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Let it simmer for about 12-15 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
  3. Once the pasta is cooked, remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
Serving
  1. Optionally, top with chopped parsley or chives before serving.
