Vegetables

  • 1 cup bell peppers (red, yellow, or green), sliced

Seasonings
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Cheese Sauce

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese Use your preferred cheese for flavor.
  • 1 cup milk (or unsweetened almond milk for a lower calorie option)
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth Opt for low sodium for a healthier choice.
Garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook the sliced steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté onions and bell peppers in the same skillet until softened, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Combine steak with vegetables, adding Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a separate pot, mix cream cheese, cheddar, milk, and beef broth over low heat until smooth.
  3. Mix macaroni with cheese sauce and then fold in the steak and vegetables.
Baking
  1. Bake at 350°F (175°C) in a greased dish for 20-25 minutes.
  2. Allow to cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve!

Notes

Customize with additional vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini. You can swap the sharp cheddar for gouda or provolone for a different flavor. Add jalapeños or hot sauce if you prefer spice.
