Puff Pastry Mummies
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 2 cups cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 jar edible googly eyes For decoration
Witch Finger Breadsticks
  • 1 package pre-made breadsticks Alternatively use pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds For fingernails
Mini Pumpkin Cheese Balls
  • 2 cups cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cup crushed crackers For coating
Ghastly Guacamole & Chips
  • 1 jar ready-made guacamole
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • a few drops food coloring Optional, for spooky effects

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. For Puff Pastry Mummies: Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into strips. Wrap the strips around small pieces of cheese and ham to form mummies, leaving a gap for the eyes.
  3. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Once baked, place edible googly eyes in the gaps.
  4. For Witch Finger Breadsticks: Use pre-made breadsticks or create your own and shape them into fingers, using sliced almonds for fingernails. Bake according to package instructions.
  5. For Mini Pumpkin Cheese Balls: Mix cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, and green bell pepper in a bowl. Roll into small balls and coat with crushed crackers. Use green bell pepper pieces for 'stems' and arrange on a platter.
  6. For Ghastly Guacamole: Scoop guacamole into a bowl and add food coloring to create a spooky hue. Swirl with a spoon and serve with tortilla chips.
