Ingredients

Steak Bites
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)
Parmesan Cream Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the sirloin steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
Cooking the Steak
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak pieces in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  2. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly to combine with the garlic.
  3. Gradually add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, whisking continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the butter, garlic powder, and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combining and Serving
  1. Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and gently toss them in the Parmesan cream sauce until they’re evenly coated and heated through.
  2. Garnish your dish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose high-quality sirloin steak for tenderness. Let steak come to room temperature before cooking for even results. For a spicy twist, consider adding red pepper flakes to the sauce.
