Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced Shredded chicken is ideal.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Customize with your choice of vegetables.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup Can be substituted with cream of mushroom soup.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional) For added flavor.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Open the can of refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  5. Arrange the biscuit pieces evenly over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
  6. If desired, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the biscuits.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Cook your chicken ahead of time for convenience. This casserole can also be assembled the night before and refrigerated until ready to bake. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
