  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn) Frozen or fresh.

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) For topping.
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • Paprika (for topping)
Taco Beef Casserole Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce grease.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Follow package directions for seasoning.
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn kernels (canned or frozen)
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) salsa
  • 2 cups tortilla chips, crushed For layering.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Mexican blend) Top layer.

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed tomato soup
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping.

Method
 

Classic Beef and Noodle Casserole Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and cooked noodles. Mix well.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
Beef and Potato Casserole Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the beef mixture and half of the soup mixture. Repeat layers.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.
Taco Beef Casserole Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef. Drain fat and stir in taco seasoning according to package directions.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the seasoned beef, black beans, corn, and salsa until well combined.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the crushed tortilla chips, followed by half the beef mixture. Sprinkle half of the cheese.
  5. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Cheesy Beef and Rice Casserole Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper. Drain fat.
  3. Stir in rice, tomato soup, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish. Cover tightly with foil.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until rice is tender.
  6. Remove from oven, stir in cheese, and return to oven until cheese is melted.
