Description
This chocolate cake and pudding recipe creates the moistest, richest cake ever easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups milk
3 large eggs
Whipped cream or berries (optional for topping)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pudding mix.
3. Add milk, oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
4. Pour into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes.
5. Let cool slightly. Poke holes all over the cake with a fork or skewer.
6. Prepare pudding as directed. Pour over warm cake.
7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
8. Top with whipped cream or fresh berries if desired.
Notes
Use dark chocolate pudding for a richer flavor. For a shortcut, use pre-made pudding.
